Biography
Michael B. Gilden, Esq. currently offers a wide range of consulting services in the legal industry. Mr. Gilden is an AV® Preeminent™ rated attorney in both legal ability and ethics, the highest possible rating given by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the most widely recognized attorney rating organization in the United States. He is also a Board Certified attorney, established as an expert in his field by The Florida Bar, which is mentioned to suggest the integrity also brought to providing consulting services at LFC.
Michael’s wide breath of legal and consulting experience allows LFC to leverage this knowledge to thoroughly vet candidates. Accordingly, only the best attorneys are introduced to our law firm clients. Moreover, Michael knows the trials and tribulations of young lawyers working their way through the complexities of associate life, and then towards partnership. Decades of practice, along with years of law firm management, allow Michael to provide sound insight, as well as empathy, to candidates as they move through the often arduous lateral hiring process. Finally, having been in practice for 20+ years, Michael has long-standing relationships with individual attorneys and law firms of every size, which allows for partnership opportunities to develop, as well as for mergers and other deals to be made between law firms and their members.
Previously, Lake Forest Consulting was associated with a respected South Florida based staffing company. When last in private practice, Mr. Gilden was a partner at Kopelowitz Ostrow, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he ran the firm’s family law department. Michael also practiced at the international law firm Boies, Schiller & Flexner, LLP and the preeminent family law boutique Miller, Schwartz & Miller, P.A.
Born and raised in New York, Michael made his way to South Florida to attend the University of Miami. Michael now lives in Davie, Florida and Reynolds, Lake Oconee, Georgia with his wife of over twenty years and their three children, as well as the love of his life, Sherman – the mini goldendoodle.
